How do i surrvive while i wait for disablity?

I lost ss when I turned over 19 I've reapplyed. Right after i lost it but. Now i have reapplyed for it as disablity. I've waited like over a year now and I have a issue how do I surrvive money wise while I wait? We are struggling may be homeless? I did have my lawyer send this eviction notice things signed by all of us so the judge could hurry my case but I dought it. The people I live with think its unfair that they job hunt and be able to work when I wait for my case. They actually want me to work and get it but I explained I can't work before the judge sees my case and even if I get it and work it wouldn't be worth it but I told them id do that and working may be hard I got bipolor. Ocd insomnia anxiety depression dyslexia etc.to. That is the short version of my issue just would like to know what I should do in confused and I wanna make the right choice for me. I do feel in my heart I desirve disablity I did go to doctors and believe my bipolor true I can tell I have it.id appreate some advice on this thanks.
