My airsoft isn't shooting?!?

i have an aks-74u and it used to work i got a new battery for it it sounds like its shooting but it not it keepes constantly jaming after i un jam it i put the clip in then i try to shoot it dosent sound like its grinding or anything it sounds fine i just dont know what to do anything you guys can help me with to fix it ok so i shot itit james i take the clip out then put it back in and try to shoot it again and it just constantly jams
