Cheap and practical places to live in Canada?
To apply for any job in Quebec, you must be bilingual. This is a law in that province and there are no exceptions. So, if you are not bilingual, you will be wasting your time and money. By the way, I know you said don't mention the East Coast, but Newfoundland is leading the country with job opportunities and has the biggest economic growth for the past three years. As for no one wanting to live there...you couldn't be further from the truth. The housing industry can't keep up with the demand for new houses in Newfoundland. Especially in St. John's and the Avalon Peninsula.
