In regard to my previous question, can I be evicted legally?

Roommate and I were involved in a dispute over my fiancee staying. There were no drugs involved although he was heavily intoxicated. The landlord is assuming I will not be able to pay rent since he is in jail and I am unable to work. The 48 hr notice previously mentioned is dated the 26th and has not been notorized or issued by any local authority. Was told that getting shot was a automatic eviction.
