Landlord wont fix broken things.?

For almost a year now, I have been working with a broken stove, and throughout this time it has been getting worse and worse, as of right now, I have a 1/2 burner, as in, it works as long as I take the element out and out it back it, which is a HUGE fire hazard. I have been asking him at least once a month for a year for a new stove ( he says they are too expensive) My refrigerator leaks, landlord said it was my ice maker, I don't have an ice maker. My air conditioner in my bedroom leaked all over the floor and I lost ALOT of clothes and books, he refused to reimburse me, it was 4 months and I just got it fixed, they drilled a hole in something to fix it?. My living room ait conditioner is from the 50's, he keeps saying he is going to get a new one, blah blah, my electric bill in a 700 ft apt is 280 dollars a month.The window in my kitchen was broken, it wouldn't shut all the way, I asked him 7 times to fix it, no luck there either. We ended up finally figuring out how to fix it. The hot water heater blew, ruined my daughters bed, he refused to replace her bed, or deduct some off of the rent. Not to mention the walls were soaked half way up. None of my doors have anything going around the frame to keep the heat and cold out,( he said he would fix that when we moved in 16 months ago. I don't have the money to move right now unfortunately, so I would just like to know what my rights are, what can i do, to get him moving, mind you, if I am more than 1 days late on the rent, he is threatening me with eviction, nine times out of 10, I have to wait a day or so to pay him because I'm paying 300 on my electric bill the same time rent is due. I would appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction on this. Thank You
