Pastor does not offer counsel but only suggests divorce?

It's really sad to hear that there are those who claim they're Christians and yet don't act like it. And a pastor no less. I'm sorry to hear your situation, and I agree that you should look for another church that promotes the right doctrines and teachings, as divorce is clearly against the Bible. I hope that this incident has not damaged your faith in God, as many do. Not all Christians act this way.. I sincerely hope you find a good church for you and your family. God Bless
