Nys real estate law question.?

I want to file a complaint about an illegal eviction. Basically I want the eviction proceeding as deemed void because all the info on the affidavit was wrong. what is the procedure called and what are citation/law number. I would appreciate some direction as in where I can find this info. thanks.
