Someone got an eviction under my name, what do i do if it wasnt me?

im trying to rent a home and they guy had an application for me to fill out. he specificly said NO EVICTIONS! i said thats fine no worries and it comes up under my social i got evicted in 2009 in some address but i never been evicted nor been at that address! how can i straighten it up from my name? i called social security ad. they do nothing, i called equifax they also do nothing PLEASE help!
